What you need to do is get your hands on the following to do the conversion,

- 89+ Front bar (of course Razz

)
- 89+ Front Indicator set and grill inserts (see below regarding this)
- 89+ Driving lights - Optional (you can NOT use the old ones, they don't fit into the 89+ bar slots).
- The Metal bracket behind the nose cone from an 89+ car (you know part that has the front badge on it... well there is a bracket behind that you will need IF you want to use the 89+ front indicator set).

Ok first off with the metal bar/bracket that the nose cone mounts onto. On the older shape the indicators are a different length, so the mounting points between the old indicators and the new indicators are different. So if you want to fit the new indicators you will need the new mounting points. These mounting points are on the bracket. You can use the old indicators if you dont want to go through all this, but the old full length grill will not fit anymore, so you would have to cut that to fill the gap that will be left.

Ok other than that the only other bit of modification that you will need to do is with the bracket in where the fog lights sit, very minor cutting of bar...this is all covered in the link I provided a few posts up.

Be prepared to give yourself a bit of time to do this, the hardest thing to remove is the nuts in the front of the bar, there is nearly no room to get in there with a socket, so have a small 10mm spanner ready and be prepared to swear a few times Razz

Basically 1st step is take out the front indicators and go from there.
