check earths every where - even by bridging new earths from the battery to near the computer.
Maybe the alternator wire is loose or has been damaged in the accident.
Also disconnect and clean the battery terminals and any of the wires that hook directly to the battery.
Was the car repaired? Because I have never seen a smash repairer that knows how to put things back how they found them.
Just some ideas.
