What you described sounds exactly like an AFM... so plumb-back it is. Altough you can have a atmospheric but because the engine reads air going in (and then out the BOV which the computer is assuming goes into the engine) when you close the throtle you will blow a lot of smoke because the computer will run it too rich... Also at night it will probably blow flames too when you snap the throttle closed which can sorta look cool but will most likley fry your cat, and muffler in time and get you majorly defected and make the engine lumpy and all sorts of problems that arent really worth the wank factor of having a fire breathing RAV4...
Oh yeah, the A in MAP does indeed stand for 'absolute'
