Gearbox = $3k at best (only if you're lucky).
Then you need custom flywheel and clutch, unless you're lucky enough to get a stocker that isn't rooted (unlikely).
The you need a custom tailshaft as mentioned (they don't use a slipper yoke like the W58, R154 etc).
Then you need to butcher the shifter so it doesn't end up in the back seat, which requires the services of a good alloy welder/fabricator.
Then you need to bash the crap out of your transmission tunnel and/or hack a giant hole in it.
Finally, you need to find a very tall diff ratio (6-speed JZA80's come with a 3.2:1 diff) otherwise first gear will be so low it will be a waste of time and you'll take off in second all the time... which kind of defeats the purpose of having a 6-speed in the first place. And forget about getting a ratio that tall for an MA61, they don't exist.
So you have to ask yourself, do you really want to invest all that money and effort just to have one extra ratio which you may never use? The only reason I'm doing it is because the V160 is damn near indestructible, and the combination of my engine and driving style means I need a gearbox like that. The last two 5-speeds died a spectacular death.
