i wanted to know what you boys think about a 4agze put up against a vtec type honda engine.
i used to think vtec was nothing much but a twincam type like setup. once my mate with a vtec 1.6 EG hatch type finished his cold air induction fitted to stock airbox his car was super quick from the word go.
my 4agze map type with aftermarket ecu plus bigger pulley could not pull away.
we were head to head pretty much depending on who launches better, the last time we encountered i had the launch on him but once vtec started to kick in he was pretty much in line to 80.
damnz i thought the gze would have had the edge against the vtec. His car is quite quick as it can keep up if not beat most high end cars for atleast the first 2 gears.
hmmm, i dunno what do you guys think.
by the way we both have cold air induction but i have yet to get a bonnet scoop for my top mount which i would be getting quite soon.
edit./ vtec has cat back exaust, 4agze has hi-flow2.5inch cat with 2.1/4 inch exhuast all the way to muffler.
