Camry Touring Suspension Mon, 14 March 2005 00:07 Go to previous message
Hey guys,

I'm considering up of upgrading the suspension in the Camry (widebody sedan) but because it is the Touring variant, i have been advised against doing so as the suspension is already well sorted.

My intentions we're to drop it a few inches and i was to be upgrading the wheels to 17'. I haven't checked around to see what i could go for yet or who would be offering packages but obviously i don't want to take away on the ride quality. After coming from the EXA, I'm loving not having to scrape over every bump and hump on the road!

What would you guys advise?
-Stay with the current setup
-Lower springs and shocks
-Wait out to develop a package to suit

I'm also not hoping to spend a lot of money. I'm looking at spending up to $1500 max but we'll see how we go of course. What do you guys also think of new vs. second hand?

Thanks in advance. Sorry for the long post!

Cheers,

Mark
