i wouldnt wire it to the on wire.
think of what will happen if you have a crash.
20psi doesnt sound particularly high at all. its specific to every car, but for instance sotck pressure on my car is 36psi without vacuum.
the circuit opening relay is not wired up.
so the starter circuit keeps the pump running, but once it starts there is nothing to take over and keep the cicuit closed.
