First thing I did was hide my network ID & secure my wireless network with a WEP key Nothing too sophisticated but it's enough to deter the casual user from abusing my connection. Found a good site the other day on where to find free wireless hot spots in Sydney and in other states, i'll have a look around & see if I can find it again...
