the whole 802.11b is something to be avoided - in my personal opinion. Wireless hot spots etc.. avoid the lot of it. Alot of american companies have shelled out big dollars in development of this technology - essentially spread spectrum microwave transmission.
The wavelength - u-wave - ionises the water molecules in your body - your brain has some of this. Do some research into fertiliy problems with radar operators before you jump head long into this.
