3TGTE block is slightly different to any other T series block. It has a location for the Turbo Oil drain and a Sump breather pot. Mind you I'm sure the sump breather was onthe very first 2TG as well.

Internal parts are not the same either. 3T and 3TGTEU dimensions are the same but COmpression is different. 3TGTE Rods are stonger and crank is rumored to be better as well. It wil all fit together no worries tho Just depends what your actually trying to build.
