You obviously don't want the thermo's to wait too long before switching on but at the same time you don't want them to be switching on and off too often. If you find they are then you have the temp set too low.

On at about 94 and off at 84 sounds reasonable and while I haven't measured mine it would probably be the same. Also note that some 1G's are fitted with 89 degree thermostats which I think is a bit high for Australian conditions.
