wider rims are only better when they come with wider tyres, rims really mean fuck all in performancxe standards aparts from a weight factor maybe the true advantage is the rubber on them, in some circumstances wider rims actually deteriate handling ie wide wheels with wide rubber can cause tramlining and on wet roads aquaplaing.
