You saying that the dremel doesnt have the torque to do the job?
If need be I'll start with an angle grinder, and finish with the dremel.

not really a torque thing.. the burrs are just usually crap... they tend to fill up quickly with alloy and lose their edge quickly also.
the stones are useless with alloy as it coats the surface and again, renders them useless...
just my opinion tho.
fr shaping alloy, i'd use the 3M scotchbrite discs.. they eat thru it nicely.. and the soft ones polish ok as well.
