the skirts were about $275 delivered if i remeber correctly 
and 415hp  thats a crapload of power for a 1G, doable but it will cost very large $$$$!
in my opinion you would be better off going for a 1JZ or 2JZ conversion, although the initial cost might be high you will have a better overall package for tourque considering the heavy chassis of the GZ20.
I was in the process of building a high horsepower package for my 1GGTE when I decided to go for the 1JZ instead as the 1G was always going to be a 1G and a very highly strung motor that would most probably not last me as long as I needed it too.
But its your cash i suppose...good luck with it
