Mookie wrote on Fri, 18 March 2005 09:54 | well the only motor i've seen came on a pallet is was wrapped in plastice and tied down with rope.
It was also sitting on a only tyre so the sump didn't get damaged.
I don't know if this was the correct way but the motor arrived undamaged

Thats the way i seen em moved aswell and also it is how i have moved them

Awesome! thanks for the help everyone! one thing, when you's all say crate, do you also mean sides and roof? so like a big wooden box sorta thing?
Fattony: So you've shipped engines this way? where did you get the crate from? is it liike the really popular pallet bottoms, from lyk coles or any supermarket kinda pallet?
Anyone know a good freight company? melb-->QLD
