Intensevil Forums Junkie Location: Melbourne Registered: March 2003	22r-e performance reliablity Fri, 18 March 2005 02:42 I'm really interested in just how well a 22r-e can stand up to a good thrashing. Because its a rather large engine with a large stroke would this mean that its more likely to throw a rod or have something internal brake from stress? Reason i'm asking is i'd like to use my ra65 for drifting but im really worried about the engine. I've got a rebuilt 22re thats done 30,000km so the motors nice and fresh and i really dont want to kill it prematurely. So far from just daily driving, the motor sees 5 grand on a daily basis it hasnt shown me any problems. What are your experiences with this motor?
