Wouldn't the IC end up taking the majority of the ceramic shards out?
I also have "heard" a lot of "stories" about such things but have never actually known anyone who has had it happen to them.
I assume that the problem would be mainly with non intercooled vehicles and that most other people who claim they had the problem are mistakenly thinking that the fact that their engine and turbo died simulatenously was because of shards off the compressor wheel not just because they tried to get 30PSI out of their stock turbo and motor.
Thoughts?
