I've never heard of any problems encountered with shifter fit in this application. You could try measuring the two transmissions from bellhousing face to shifter location; if you don't physically have the W-T bellhousing get the seller to measure it and measure the length of the W55 core seperately. As for fitting it, it seems an automatic TA22 crossmember is a good place to start. The auto tailshaft will fit the standard differential and W55 output shaft. P.S. I found the adjustable lateral rod in the boot of my Corolla. Sorry about that - let me know when next you might be in town. Until then it's not a major major issue to run without it.
