U can use the tailshaft out of a RT104 if u don't want to go 2 piece. That been said the t series diff will still break easily. There are lots of past threads on lsd/disc brake rear ends for a celica. The least rouble one seems to be the dunnydoor - remember u will have to shorten or otherwise change the tailshaft which can add lots of $. One of the other options seems to be the Hilux. Lots of member have gone this way. Something that few people seem to realise is that the RT141 disc brakes are a bolt on! Read my tech article for the t series diff - it also applies to the f series. What about $s? Thbought a Mark II Corona diff for $150 - sure that u can buy whole cars for that. It was the right width for me - that is lined up with the changed offset that the Pug/hilux left me with at the front. It was about $280 to get the mounts cut off the diff and replaced with the ones off the original t series. U can buy a disc brake rear from a Rt141 for about $250 - remember to get the handbrake cables aaand the bearing retaining plates off the rt141 axles cos things will not work without them. F series lsd go from about $400 up. I happened to have a spare diff for a ma61 so am having the lsd packbuilt into the corona centre (the centres are different) Looks like the whole thing cost me $1000 or so if u count the lsd centre.
