what's your budget? are you planning on going within Oz or overseas? That'll be the deciding factor of the final cost...
I went with my gf to Kuala Lumpur, Switzerland, Russia (to visit relo's) and Austria, and that ended up costing close to about $5000 each including airfare, but that was for a total of 1 month or so...
