I went back to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, and many other places there as I got relo's), Singapore (uncle there) and China (gf's relo's are there). Travelled around China as well while I was there. Ended up costing me around the $4k mark and her around the $5k mark (she shops a lot more than me). I was overseas for a good 2 months. So, it takes lots of money. Depending on how long you go for, and if there are relatives for you to bum food and accomodation off, it could get real expensive, real fast.
