Registered: June 2002	Re: 1GGTE Gen3 ECU Mon, 21 March 2005 19:17 i know on the earlier nissan ECU's like the E15ET and the RB30 the dial was there to put the ECU into diagnostic mode - ie it would normally run at lets say 7oclock but when wound around to lets say 5 oclock the ECU would do diags are there any LED's around it as well? hope this helps. personally i'd leave it alone, unless, you do want to try. might be worth asking sixworks as he may know - he knows quite a bit about the 1G.
