gt20v Regular Registered: July 2002	Re: sump plug is stuck in the sump Sun, 01 December 2002 18:51 talking about "fixed quote" I've been to a mechanic who gave me quote on a job, and then come back to charge me WAY more ($200+) and his excuse was "it took more time then he thought" because he couldn't get the old bushing out! He had my mobile number and I told him to ring if there's any problem and he didn't! So what is the main point of a quote? I NEVER went back again, so I hope he understands his greed actually costed him more than what he made, and I wish these people all go bankrupt! anyway back to the thread, I remember someone suggested welding a bigger / huge bolt to the sump plug, and work off that bolt instead, and make sure you undo it anti-clockwise as suggested..
