Done some googling, which surprisingly produced a few results pointing to threads on here, think you're right on the stock 2tgeu dizzy providing pulsing for batch firing. It would appear that YelloRolla is the man to talk to for a custom dizzy setup to suit, machining such things is well out of my league.
Running sequential fire, does that mean i need 4 coils rather than just the one? Will an LTX8 run batch fire?

Sequential ignition requires 4 coils (or semi sequential is 2 coils and wasted spark), sequential injection is just 4 independantly controlled injectors.
LTX8 will run 1, 2 or 4 coils, and 1, 2 or 4 sets of injectors.
It depends how you get them set up.
I'm runnings 4 pairs of injectors, and 2 coils on my 1uz (LT8S)
