mx83toy Forums Junkie Location: Sydney Registered: May 2002	Re: Cressida Engine Conversions Sun, 01 December 2002 23:48 go to asian auto spares in slacks creek qld buy yourself a jzx 81 half cut (dont get a 90!!! be patient and get yourself an 81 it will be worth the wait) remove the wiring from the engine and send it to sixwork with you old 7m one dont skip that step ....i did and regretted it hard!!!!!!!! get nder the half cut and unbolt the cross member and top of suspention (i even left the wheels on to make it easier to move around) the engine box suspention brakes will all come off in one piece (here you'll need a mate to lift the jzx's body over the good stuff ) lift up the cressi really high....guid the stuff under it using a good jack ...drop the cressi line everything up....then lift the car up from the engine get under and bolt everything up....ps the original exhaust will bolt straight up.....there you have it ....engine ,gbox , suspention, brake conversion in one step!!! fuel lines ,ac ect all hook straight up...to start with just run all your standard dtuff i still am oh and put in a turbo boost controller while the engine is out.....the oil relocater is a really good idea but i didn't use one either...good luck and may the toymods force be with you...ps you'll love it when its done this is the fast way i was talking about guyz!!!
