That's alright...
It could be the cause of your oil light coming on, not sure about that one, I'd be checking first your oil level and then your oil sensor, make sure that the sensor is OK, then check that the sensor is infact that right sensor for that dashboard.
Also, with the oil drain pipe, it's important that it never goes fully horizontal at any point.
