Getting Aftermarket Cams for st162.. Questions please!

Just had a few questions about this please
I have a st162, with exhaust and k&n panel filter as the only mods, extractors will be on shortly and i have the timing on 14 degrees..
I have wanted some cams for it for a while now..
I'm just wondering if anyone knows the duration of the cams standard and what the stock ECU should be able to cope with on standard ecu...
I believe i would have to adjust the timing higher than normal..
Someone mentioned something about having to adjust the tappets? is this hard or expensive?
