No wonder people struggle with the theory of relativity. A 100km/h impact taken by ONE car hitting a wall is a collision with 4 times the energy of a collision of ONE car hitting a wall at 50km/h. The total energy in a TWO 50km/h car collision is TWO times that of a ONE 50km/h car collision - however each car only gets HALF the TOTAL energy of the collision thus EACH car absorbs ONE 50km/h collision's worth of energy - so my point is that if you are inside ONE car (and not TWO, which is impossible) then you will experience ONE 50km/h collisions' worth of energy regardless of what you hit.
