Sweet. That's good news then! So the only splicing that I'd need to do would be at the ECU connector? I'd be using the ECU that comes with the motor / halfcut. What connections did you have to make at the fusebox? Thanks for that, let us know how you go!

I've been studying the wiring diagrams in the haynes manual, it looks fairly straight forward... but in my experience it rarely is. There's also this pretty good flow chart type thing which shows the connections the ECU has.
