Hey, cheers justin mate. Yeh thats what i thought, but now different people have been telling me different stories, it depends on the details of the electric dizzy internals... I think?? because the 18Rc has a points dizzy(oldskool) and the 18Rgeu has elec dizzy, but there can be different types of these electric dizzys.. therefore need to know the exact type of dizzy internals to know what coil and ignitor setup i need for the 18Rgeu!?!
And nowhere except Sleeka Spares seems to stock aftermarket coils for the 22R-E even, and they all told me to find one at wreckers which i will do. I didnt think the 22R-E was an imported motor? spewin, ohwell good old sleeka spares should hook me up with a second hand coil for the 18Rc beast, so at least il be able to get around to sleeka spares again to get more stuff for the next phase.
I think maybe how your mate used the same coil for 2t -> 2tgeu is because (correct me if im wrong) the 2tgeu is still using same dizzy? just a guess. but the dizzy on a 18rc differs greatly to the 18Rgeu i know that.
Do standard 2tgeu come with similar dizzys to standard 18Rgeu?
hmm well its all good, just gotta go investigate my dizzy some more ..
