turbo to me will perform better in the long run
( running bigger boost and even bigger turbo )
whereas supercharger the most you can do is change the crankshaft pulley to give you an extra couple of psi..

now for price wise...
depending what supercharger you buy and if its brand new or not it could cost you from $300 to $3,000
and as for the mounting, intake, etc etc..

whereas turbo the 7afte is already turbo all the oil supply lines and the injectors there all already there..

but um what can i say.. bang for your buck i would say turbo but its really up to you to decide...

now as for easier.. i would say turbo
because the sportivo version of the ae112 corolla already comes with turbo from factory... so it would have forged pistons , bigger injectors etc etc

as for the ecu. it really depends on if you can find and buy a front cut or not..

well when the ae112 sportivos came out they were $40,000? brand new ? around that figure and not many people bought them because they cost so much...

so finding a front cut or even a 7afte these days is VERY hard..
but if u do find 1 your VERY VERY lucky lOl

now if you do buy a complete front cut if will come with everything you need
ecu loom engine the whole support gear..
and you ll have spares for when you need it =P

your car at the moment is a 7afe
the ae112 sportivo is a 7afte.. t being turbo..

but its really up to you mate finding the engine / front cut is 1 thing...

the other thing people have done and that i was planning to do was either drop a 4agze or do a 1/2 4agze 1/2 7afe because the heads are nearly identical if not identical ( dont quote me on that )

now when doing a 7agze or 7agte you would need a 4agze head with pistons etc etc on a 7afe bottom end..

and you could use the 7afe ecu with a piggyback ecu..

but i mean the only real reason i sold the car was because of the gearbox..

i dunno about the sportivo gearbox but the 7afe 1 is really short lOl and with a turbo / supercharger its not gonna make things any longer...

but 1 thing for sure it ll b little pocket rocket Smiley =!

gees im really long winded haha Razz

well to cut a long story short try and find a 7afte engine or front cut

if your unsuccessful with it then either change car or save up for a 7agze or 7agte

and as for the 4th and 5th gear i always use to go from 3rd to 5th lOl because there really wasnt much difference..

and yes i do admit 1st gear is really low aswell i use to be hitting 6500rpm in 1st gear and only be going around 30km/h or something like that.. cant remember now but that car was a real dream to drive so reliable !! lOl

anyways mate if you wanna talk more indepth about anything pm me

cya
