hi troy 3k head on a 5k block will actually lower the compression unless you were to put flat top pistons in it or supercharge it and therefore needing a decomp head, because the 5k has domed pistons (and a smaller combustion chamber to suit) whereas 3k has flat top pistons. cheers sean [Report message to a moderator]
