Thu, 31 March 2005 00:46 If your cam and ignition timing is OK then it may be a blocked emulsion tube this allows the fuel to be properly atomized. You can often clear them by removing the air filter, start the engine, hold the revs at 3-3500rpm then blocking the intake completely with a large folded rag you choke the engine. Just before the engine dies remove the rag and allow it to build up revs again and repeat the process a couple of times if this doesn't work you may have to remove the emulsion tubes to clean them.
