i've done a bit of reading and i found something that was a bit interesting, it suggests that my problem could be because my distributor is sticking at a level of advance suitable for a higher engine speed, eg when i rev the advance changes to suit the engine speed or something and perhaps the distributor is stuck from a time when i revved the engine hard, does this sound correct to you guys? if this is the case is a new distributor the best option or should i try to fix my current one?, thanks for any replies.....
