Thanks for that explanation roger, but its all good i eventually got a second hand one from sleeka spares for 10 bucks and bought a new $3.75 blue lead , was the easiest option seeing as the 22R-e coil and ignitor is going to set me back $100 from a parts place so i dont wana risk it, as the new one just bolts in straight where the old one was and wires up all the same.. Seems to run heaps better so thats good too for $13.75
I recall on another thread Roger you mentioned the use of 87 magna coil& ignitor on an 18rgeu, does this setup require any alteration of the wiring or plugs for an 18rgeu electric dizzy with factory computer? because if they are a cheaper option (compared to imported 22R-e parts) i may use these magna items as they should be a heap less costly from wreckers, am i right?
