Depending on where it is in the line of things, I'm assuming after the oil pump...The oil cooler will handle a lot more pressure as oil pressure gets a lot higher than a trans cooler...I presume you could use an oil cooler as a trans cooler, however not as good an idea the other way around...I might be slightly wrong here...But seeing as though no one has replied, I thought I'd add my thoughts.
