Im not a MKIII owner but i'll give it a shot anyways 
1) They more than liely probably would be alarm sensors
2) You would probably need a remote to arm/disarm the alarm, in most cases the keyhole on the siren is to turn the noisy bugger off if it goes crazy on ya or if your working on it connecting & disconnecting the battery.
3) As I said I do not own a MKIII but I do have an MZ20 Soarer, pretty well much the same as a supra, and I have installed just a single din head unit and left the graphic equalizer under, but you can go to a wreckers or Toyota and get one of those pockets that can fill up the remaining space.
