Not quite. Australian delivered cars from 1994-1999 came as either Bathurst or GT. Air conditioning was optional on both. Power steering was standard for the GT and unavailable for the Bathurst.

I think both AC and PS were optional on the pre-1994 Australian delivered cars. These were just called MR2.

All Australian SW20s got the 3S-GE. Gen II in the pre-1994 MR2 and Gen III in the 1994 onwards Bathurst/GT.
I think the JDM cars got the BEAMS 3S-GE in the final year or two of production. And of course the 3S-GTE was available in Japan.
The American market was different again. They got the 3S-GTE, but the NA cars got the 2.2L 5S-FE.

Nope. In Australia, the SW20 MR2 never shared an engine with the Celica. The ST162 Celica got the Gen I 3S-GE, but later models switched to the 5S-FE and then the 2ZZ-GE.

I don't know enough about the JDM cars to answer this fully. I do know they have folding mirrors, an automatic transmission was available and the targa tops were optional.
I have the sales brochure for the 1997 Australian models, so I can easily look up anything more you'd like to know about their standard equipment or options.
