yeah i'm the same baot as you, my supra will be having a heart transplant soon, and not to mention how much it's costing me in petrol to get to work everyday.
I think i may have found an ae86 for $800, going to check it out, fingers crossed it's an old ladies and it's in good nick lol (dreaming i know)

Even if it's not, for $800, if the tyres are decent and the brakes work, and it gets you from A to B, then it's cool.
Main reason why I was curious about an 86 for a "to the train station" driver was because everyone seems to have so much fun so i thought i could thrash it around a bit too.
And when I finished doing whatever to the soarer, i could then throw a 4A-GE into the sprintah, and make it my ghetto backyard project 
If I could just have a car like that which i could do anything to, learn on, fix up as a hobby.. that would be the greatest. 
But it would be a thrashbox/train station commuter car for me.
and need i mention that i would be as cool as takumi owning a sprintah?  (heh)
