Yeah. I do tend to overtorque them by hand, but I have never had toruble before. I thought it was my fault 'cos i never bothered to grease the studs. Only cost $3 or so from repco for a new one, and the shop did a good alignemnt, but ever so...

I'd be pretty pissed at a shop if they broke EVERY stud!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, how do you remove the hub on a drum brake? I've never done it before, Hayes manual doesn't mention it. If it was discs, I think i would be able to do it, but have no idea with the drum rear.
