2TG has a 70mm stroke. 3T has a 78 mm stroke.

Standard bore size is 85mm. You can bore them to 89mm(if you have a good block) but this combined with the 3T crank will only give you 1940cc.

Hope this helps.

In my experience there is an awful lot of people out there who don't know that a 2TG and an 18RG are completely different engines. Maybe the numb nut actually thought he did have a two litre?
