First of all, what computer do you plan to use??
I cant remember the details of Jason's setup, but on my 3TGTE I used an alloy disc 200mm in diameter on the crank pulley, with two rare earth magnets mounted near the edge on the back of the disc, one with the north pole facing outwards, one with the south. These pass a 2 channel hall effect sensor to send the signal to the ECU for both home (TDC #1cyl) and trigger pulses.
Works brilliantly with the Haltech E6K.
Cheers
Phil
