You could chop up a MS112 Crown disc rear end. Thats F series allows you to run the MA61 LDS centre or True Trak make a centre for them.
If you didn't want to chop the diff I believe a MX13 or 23?? (talk to Turbora28 or Gold28). This is also F series with drums and with the right off set sits in well under the guards.
F series difs put up with a bit Norbie's 2JZGTE MA61 has been running a F series with True Trak LSD for about 2 years.
Then there is the G series Hilux 8' versus the F series 7.5'. I you can cut them down a bit and get them narrow enough to sit under the car. I have been for a ride in 1GGTE powered Ra28 with a G series rear end.
Plenty of ratios are also avaliable for both the F series and G series diffs
As for other diffs I know of a 1GGTE RA28 that runs a volvo LSD diff and Yogi with his 4AGTE runs a commowhore LSD rear end.
The commo whore diffs are pretty common and parts and ratio's are easy to come buy.
Just a few ideas.
I haven't had to chop a diff MS112 to MS53 was direct bolt in however I've read a few diff conversion pages when I wanted to upgrade. Basically to see if F series would do what I wanted it to and got all the diff conversion info with it, plus going for rides and asking questions of high powered celicas in the club.
