boring out your motor wont give you high compression. by modifying and using the 3T pistons and crank you will get 1770cc and over 10:1 compression, which is where the extra power comes from. if you bore it to 89mm (i think) and use custom pistons you end up with almost 2000cc but this leaves very little meat in the cylinder walls. 18RG pistons have been used but its generally not worth the hastle.
