When i put my foot on the clutch it goes and it speeds up as the engine revs higher. So removed the gearbox to see if it was the thrust bearing scraping on the arm. which it wasnt. so i hooked the electirc drill up to the gear shaft and let her rip, turns out there scraping sound is coming from the internals of the G-box!!! OH f*ck So i loaded up the good ol patrol with tools etc backed it down to my other ta23 and begun to pull the engine out. she was out no worries, then removed the gearbox from the motor. cleaned her up, put her into the daily, tuned her up(i also rebuilt the carby) and then went for a drive. "1st gear" "2nd gear" "neutral" "wtf?" "meh 3rd will do" "driving up hill tries to change to 2nd" "crunch crunch crunch" And at that moment i just realised i spent the most of saturday wasting my dads time, Trent(trent-ke30) time and my own time. The g box is f*cked, it wont change down into second and when changing from 1st to second it will jump into neutral after a few seconds. The syncro is screwed i think.
