How exactly do you want to strengthen it? Clamping pressure or just physically stronger?

You can get different clamping pressures on the pressure plate springs. This is done during assembly. I'm sure a clutch specialist would be able to rebuild to spec, but this would obviously give a heavier pedal.

As for upgrading splines. You'd be limited to something that still fitted your input shaft on the box unless you changed that and thats a whole new can 'o worms.
