nah suspension stays the same. only thing u need to concern urself with is getting the right stud pattern, and then making sure they will fit width wise. The offset should preferably be similar, but varied ones will also fit, just might not depending on width. I think the 8' wide should fit with similar offset, obviously u will need to match the 17's with rubber to get the same rolling diameter. see here to work it out... http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
