interesting, did the ta22 control arms bolt up to the ke20? was there much difference in length? have you noticed the steering slower with the longer ta22 steering arms?
for what it's worth, both installing different struts into any car, and modifying a suspension component (such as a control arm) is illegal, so you technically shouldn't be able to get either of those certified. your engineer might be a good bloke though, good luck
