Its not the tape thats adhesive on one side and reflective on the other, the matting weave that stradlater has used. Apparently its good up to 1000 degrees or so.

Stradlater - did you wet the wrap before putting it on? I figure that the wastgate wont get that hot either, but i've got 60 feet of it and i'm pretty sure i'll have some left over, so why not?

HPC was an option, but 1) i've already got the wrap, 2) no on in canberra can HPC it (from my knowledge) and 3) well cause i'd like to do some work on my car! Smile
