Yup go the F series  seems pointless adding all the extra unsprung weight for nothing.
You can use ST141 disc brakes on it also. Anthony & myself picked up 2 complete F series diffs (hmm well thats a lie kinda one as an E but thats another story) and ST141 disc brakes for I think $100 each.
Then grab a Torsen centre or MA61 centre. I got my torsen centre new for $650.
Makes for a very cheap conversion!
Also its 4 stud already and G series is going to be 5 or 6..
Too many advantages to the F series
